Bio

Melanie Turner has been in Madison City Schools for  6 years. At James Clemens, she has taught Alg2/Trig regular and Pre-AP, Pre-AP Pre Cal, and ACT Prep at JC. She came to James Clemens from Liberty Middle School where she taught Honors Geometry, Algebraic Connections, Honors Algebra II/Trig, Algebra I, and Algebra I A/B. Before coming to Madison City Schools, Mrs. Turner taught at Monrovia Middle School, Sparkman High School, Westminster Christian Academy, and Athens High Schools where she taught a variety of courses including 8th grade math, Computer Applications, Introduction to Computers, Advanced Placement Computer Science, BASIC programming, Algebra I, Algebra II/Trig, and  Computer Programming. She served as an Intel Teach to the Future trainer, School Tech Contact, SGA sponsor, Computer Club sponsor, Senior Class sponsor, and Senior Follies sponsor.

Mrs. Turner is married to her high school sweet heart. They have 3 daughters: 21 year old twins, and 17 year old who is a junior at JC . They enjoy cooking together, motorcycle trips to the mountains, cheering on the Crimson Tide and participating in the girls various activities including cheer and church youth/missions groups.
