Bio

Clay Combs has been a part of the Madison City School System for some time.  Graduating from Bob Jones in 1995, Clay eventually went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in English with secondary and middle school certification from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.  From there, he began his teaching career at the same middle school he attended as a student: Liberty.  Clay Combs was a part of the faculty at Liberty Middle School since 2002, teaching such courses as English 9, Honor’s English 9, Freshman Composition, and Mass Media.  He was also the yearbook adviser at Liberty (2004-2012) and the SGA sponsor (2008-2012).  Now at James Clemens, he teaches Intro to TV Production and Advanced TV Production (JetsPress), as well as working as the adviser for The Journey, the James Clemens yearbook.
