Bio

My Name is Rosalyn Priester and this is my 29th year to teach in Alabama; 33rd overall counting four year in Florida.  This is my 1st year to teach in Madison City at James Clemens High School.  I got married in July of 2013, continued my teaching job in Jefferson County the first year of my marriage and then moved permanently to the Madison area.

I have two children (twins), Lindsey and Chris, and a step-daughter, Alex.  Lindsey's husband, Kevin, is in the Air Force and stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.  Lindsey's the mother to my two grandchildren:  Kayleigh and Kaden.  Chris is in the Army and stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington.  Chris just got married to Tiffany in May. 2014.  Alex is a junior at UNA and engaged to be married to Jake in the near future.

Teaching is my passion and I love working with children as they progress through high school and begin planning their futures.  I feel very blessed to be teaching in Madison City and working at such an elite and wonderful high school.  I hope to continue my teaching career here and look forward to many more blessed years.  My hope is that retirement is a long way off...
