AP Information

AP exam fees:

• $146.00  Research & Seminar Fees
• $  98.00  All other AP exams

Payment for AP exams are due at the start of the AP class. 

• Fall semester AP fees are due Friday, August 4, 2023. 
• Exam-only (no teacher tied to course) and Access fees are due Friday, October 27, 2023. 
• Spring semester AP fees are due Tuesday, January 9, 2024. 

Payment options:

• In person with Mrs. Hyche (enter the door by the American flag)
• Online payments click here. There is a $3.50 service fee per transaction.
• Mail payment to:

  Include student first & last name, and AP courses you are paying.
• Payment arrangements must be made in person with Mrs. Hyche or by mail. 

1. Create a College Board account if you do not have an existing account. Click My AP Login to create the account, or to login using your existing account. (Please use a NON-school email address for this account. This is the same account used to access AP scores, SAT scores, and PSAT/NMSQT scores. Some students already have an account set up for this.  Please use the same account if available. If you have trouble logging in, please use the self-help via FAQ or call AP Services for Students @ 888.225.5427.)
2. If you are creating your account, please use your LEGAL NAME. Complete all required sections and click submit.

1. Face-to-face AP Classes 
   1. Receive join code from AP teacher
   2. Click the “Join a Course or Exam” button on My AP Login website.
   3. Enter join code and click submit.
   4. Verify this is the correct AP course and teacher, then click “Yes”.
   5. You will see the exam name and exam date for the AP course you joined.
2.  ACCESS (Online) AP Classes
   1. Receive join code from your AP teacher (this code is for course materials only)
   2. Enter join code on My AP Login website
   3. Contact Mr. Gautney (cpgautney@madisoncity.k12.al.us) by Friday, October 27, 2023 to receive the join code for your AP exam to ship to JCHS. This step must be completed to receive an exam in May.
   4. Enter join code from Mr. Gautney on My AP Login website.
   5. You will see the exam name and exam date for the AP course you joined.
3.  EXAM-ONLY AP Tests – Self-study, no teacher involved with preparation of test.  
   1. Make your AP payment using one of the methods in step 1.
   2. Email or bring a hard copy of the receipt to Mr. Gautney (cpgautney@madisoncity.k12.al.us) by Friday, October 27, 2023.
   3. Enter the join code provided on My AP Login website.
   4. You will see the exam name and exam date for the AP course you joined.
