Military-Connected Families

Welcome to James Clemens High School, home of the JETS! From our daily Refuel to our unique bell, JC is a high school like no other. We are excited to welcome you as you board flight 2526 (we love aviation-related terms around here)! When a new student joins our crew, S2S is here to help ease the transition. New students will get a tour and a welcome packet, as well as stewards (think of them as your flight attendants) to help you navigate to your classes and eat lunch with for the first few days. S2S is composed of students from different backgrounds with many different interests. You are sure to find peers you have things in common with, and we will help you get connected with different clubs and activities around school and in the community. 

We are here to support not only new jets, but their families as well! In our student welcome packet, you will find our "Best of 256" list highlighting local restaurants, shopping, fun things to do, and services parents may need as you settle in to your new home. We also host and sponsor events so that new families have an opportunity to meet and mingle with other JC families. We strive to make everyone feel welcome and make meaningful connections as they transition in. As our principal Dr. D likes to say: be good to each other, love each other, peeeeeeeeeeeace.
